Already bought shutters? Getting them fitted properly
Not everyone needs shutters supplied. Plenty of people already have them: bought online or from a showroom, picked up ex-display, or inherited with a house move. The one thing they all need is fitting properly. Here is how a fit-only service works.

Why fitting matters as much as the shutters
A good set of shutters fitted badly looks like a bad set: gaps down the sides, louvres that do not line up across a bay, panels that catch or will not close flush. Most of what makes shutters look expensive is the precision of the fit, which is why we are happy to fit shutters you have supplied yourself, whoever you bought them from.
What we can fit
Shutters bought online or from a showroom that arrived flat-packed or unfitted.
Ex-display or clearance panels that need adapting to your windows.
Shutters moved from a previous home that need re-hanging to new openings.
A previous installation that was left crooked or gappy and needs putting right.
What to check before you buy
If you have not bought yet, measuring is where most self-supply jobs go wrong. If you can, have the windows measured before ordering, a small survey now is far cheaper than shutters that do not fit. We are happy to advise on this before you commit to a supplier.
The fit itself
We measure, adapt where needed, and hang every panel so it closes flush, protecting the room and clearing up before we leave. If you would rather we supplied the shutters too, we can, but there is no obligation. For the full made-to-measure range, see our sister company Shutters Design.
