We're a family-run shutter specialist working in 50 towns and areas, and we've been fitting, repairing and restoring shutters since 2009.
What makes us different is simple: one small team surveys, fits and repairs every job. No sales team on commission, no subcontracted fitting crew, no call centre that's never heard of your property. New made-to-measure shutters supplied and fitted by Shutters Design carry a separate, non-transferable 10-year personal guarantee.
Over the years we've worked on everything from full-height shutters in modern flats to complex bays in Victorian and Edwardian homes, and increasingly on repairs and restoration, giving tired or inherited shutters a second life rather than sending them to landfill. We work honestly: if a repair makes more sense than a replacement, we'll say so.

We assess existing shutters before recommending replacement. If yours can be saved, we explain the repair or restoration route before you consider a completely new set.

If something needs attention after the work, contact us with the job address and a description of the fault so we can arrange the right assessment.
