Yes. Send one photograph of the complete shutter, a close-up of the fault and a short video if the problem appears only when the shutter moves. We use them for an initial assessment and tell you whether an on-site check is needed.

Yes, through the separate Shutters Design service. Shutters Design and Shutter Installation are separate service brands operated by Shutter Design Limited. Shutters Design handles new made-to-measure supply and fitting enquiries. This site handles repair, restoration, removal, refitting and compatible replacement-part work for shutters you already own.

Shutters Design supplies and fits retrofitted honeycomb blackout blinds for compatible existing shutters. This route can use manual or electric operation after the window and shutter layout has been assessed. Shutter Installation remains the service site for fitting, repair and restoration work on shutters.

No. Shutter Installation does not repair or replace existing VELUX blinds. Our service is for plantation shutter fitting, repair, restoration, removal, refitting and compatible replacement-part work on existing shutters.

Our 12-month repair workmanship guarantee covers faults caused by our work, such as panels dropping or louvres loosening. Cosmetic damage or broken louvres may be chargeable depending on the cause. This is additional to your statutory rights. New made-to-measure shutters supplied and fitted by Shutters Design have a separate, non-transferable 10-year personal guarantee, which is different from any product-specific manufacturer guarantee.
