Old Town proportions and Kingston Hill bays
Kingston's Old Town contains buildings from several periods, while Coombe and parts of Kingston Hill include larger historic houses in lower-density settings. Tall sashes, individual bay faces and later replacement windows can therefore sit within quite different reveals even when the front elevations appear related.
