How should you clean plantation shutters routinely?
Start at the top with a clean, dry microfibre cloth. Tilt the louvres closed in one direction and gently wipe their faces. Reverse the tilt and clean the other side, then open the louvres to reach their edges. Support each blade lightly rather than pressing against the tilt rod.
Brush dust out of hinges, corners and the spaces around tilt connections with a clean, soft brush. Wipe the surrounding frame too. Working downwards means you collect dust that falls from the parts above.
